Robert Corbal, a long time 3-4th generation native of Santa Cruz, CA asked me if I would like to join him for the Wharf To Wharf Race that he has entered many times over the past couple decades. The race started in 1973 by Wharf To Wharf Race Inc. which is registered as a nonprofit. Their mission statement is to promote running for a healthy and fit lifestyle.
